2. What are the wattage requirements for your CLDVR-04M DVR unit?
CLDVR-04M DVR unit uses a power supply similar to a standard DC 10~28V power input.

3. Why are your cameras considered high resolution/ Professional grade and what is the resolution of a normal TV, VCR, and DVD player?
Many of our cameras have 420 horizontal lines of resolution for black and white and 380 horizontal lines of resolution for Colour and that is considered professional grade for CCTV equipment. You can also obtain some cameras with higher resolution (up to 600 lines in B/W).
---IN COMPARISON---
A normal TV broadcast has 330 lines of resolution and that is generally the maximum resolution for most TV sets. Many of the new flat screen TV sets have higher resolution in order to accommodate DVD, SVHS, and Laserdisc playback.

  • A DVD video is capable of up to 500 horizontal lines of resolution.
  • A VHS video has 240 lines of resolution
  • An SVHS video has 400 lines of resolution.
  • Hi-8mm (used in high-end camcorders) has 400 lines of resolution

4. What is your return policy?
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase (Except******), please contact us within 21 days of receipt of shipment for an exchange. Returned/ exchanged merchandise shipped back to Claricom will not be accepted without a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. All returns may be subject to a restocking fee of 15 percent. Returns totaling greater than $3,500 shall be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Credit card purchases are subject to an additional 5 percent restocking fee. Shipping charges and custom or special orders are nonrefundable. All packages shipped back to Claricom must be in original condition, contain all original packaging materials, shall be shipped insured , and must clearly display given RMA number on the exterior of the packaging. If returned merchandise is found to be damaged, tampered with, or otherwise not in a resalable condition, package shall be returned to purchaser at additional expense.

5. Do you sell a device that will record telephone conversations?
We do not currently sell phone recorders. We used to sell analog (cassette tape) recorders and we are in the process of replacing them with digital recorders. Please check our website for updates.

6. Do you sell a device (like a scanner) that will allow me to monitor cordless or cellular telephone calls?
NO we do not sell this type of equipment. Please do not contact us regarding this type of equipment.

7. What is the meaning of compression rate and the term frame per second?
Compression rate deals with video size, bit rate, and pixels per second present in the saved video clip.
The frame rate is the number of frames or images that are projected or displayed per second on the screen. The professional frame rate for motion pictures is 24 frames per second and, for television, 30 frames per second (in the U.S.).

8. Do you provide drop shipping?
We will only ship to an address listed with your credit card company. This can be the billing or alternate shipping address.
