Potent bass performance and compelling low frequency effects are delivered by the compact Revolution subwoofer.
Designed and finished to the same exacting standards as the core full range models, inside its ultra-rigid veneer-finish cabinet is a muscular 160 Watt amplifier powering a forward firing, long throw 10.00” drive unit.
Faithfully reproducing the impact, punch and drive of action movies, the Revolution subwoofer is articulate in both tonal balance and low frequency detailing.
The long throw, 250mm (10.00”) forward firing drive unit is mounted in a robust 28.5 litre (1.01 cu.ft.) rear vented enclosure, finished in the same Light Oak or Espresso veneer as the rest of the models in the Revolution range.
The 160W (RMS) power amplifier has a low frequency response of 35Hz (-6dB in room typical response) with a 2nd order low pass variable filter (-6dB ranging from 50Hz and 200Hz). Equipped with stereo line level and high level inputs, mono LFE and auto mute (after approximately 10 minutes in the absence of an input signal).
Additional features include a phase invert switch, 12V remote switching and soft limiting to avoid overload.
